Miss Joanna
Hello, my name is Miss Joanna! Here are some things I would love to share about myself: I am a graduate from Cal State Long Beach, I have a bachelor's degree in Human Development with emphasis in Child Development, and I have been teaching in the preschool environment for seven years and working with children for the past ten years. I love to teach and I love to learn. Everyday, I look forward to teaching children what I have learned about God's creation. My teaching style is a blend of paper practice and hands-on learning. Children are unique and they all learn differently. Because of this, I try to teach in a way that helps all types of learners using dance, singing, story telling, art, learning centers, writing, mathematics and more. My goal for the Pre-K class is to prepare them for the next big step in their lives, Kindergarten! This is a bible verse and quote that Miss Joanna tries to teach by! Romans 12: 7 - If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. "Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate."

Miss Josie
I received my Early Childhood Education and training to become a preschool teacher at Orange Coast College; I also served as faculty, teaching at OCC Children Center for two years. The Lord led my family and I to CrossPoint Baptist Church and Preschool in December of 1990, and I've been serving here since.
Hello! I am Miss Josie Nguyen, our three year old teacher here at Liberty Christian Preschool. I have two daughters, Jessica, 26 and Jackie, 24. They both attended LCS since Elementary through High School. Yes! I am a grandma and Dylan Warner, aka "Dylpickle" is my grandson, he is here at the preschool as well! My priorities are God first, family second, career third. I highly value and appreciate the sacrifice of missionaries who answer their calling and serve wherever God calls them. I am forever grateful to the men and women in uniform who serve nationwide and abroad - we "live in the land of the free because of the brave." For almost three years now, I have been a volunteer at the Institute of Vietnamese Studies, teaching Vietnamese to 1st graders and up. A very small part of giving back to our community here in OC. Yet, I've learner so much about my culture, people, history and language.Thank you for entrusting your precious little ones to us this year. It'll be a terrific one, yet!

Miss Monica
My name is Monica Davis. I have been working with children for nine years, six years as a preschool teacher and four years of my preschool experience was done at Liberty Christian Preschool. I am very familiar with the quality and values, at LCP and I am so excited to be back on a great team. I took a leave of absence to pursue a full time children’s ministry opportunity, which led into teaching Kindergarten for three wonderful years. I am newly married. My husband’s name is John Davis. He serves in the U.S. Army. We love serving in ministry together, especially in children’s ministry where we can think of fun ways to enrich the lives of children for Christ. Teaching and ministering in the lives of children is a true blessing. I love trying to create opportunities to enhance a child’s life in knowledge, in stature and in spirit. It is a great privilege to serve your child and come alongside you and your family.
