Discipline Philosophy

We trust that in a strong academic atmosphere in which the students are constantly being challenged to work up to their capacity, a minimum of disciplinary action will be necessary.

A Practice Based on the Bible

The goal of all discipline is to develop patterns, habits and choices which result in behavior that is pleasing to God.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

Purpose of Discipline

Our desire is that students will develop a lifestyle of actions that is in line with what God desires for life.

Disciplinary Actions

Even though the best case scenario would be to never have to resort to discipline, it is sometimes necessary. Below are most of the methods Liberty uses and endorses.

  • Teacher/student conferences
  • Phone call to parent
  • Parent/student conferences
  • Detentions
  • Conference with counselor &/or administration
